Her forthcoming album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, is due to release this autumn.
The indie-alt pioneer Mitski has released two new songs from her upcoming album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, set to release on the 15th of September.
The guitar-heavy tracks, called 'Star' and 'Heaven', follow the release of the album's lead single 'Bug Like An Angel' released earlier this month.
Mitski has also announced an acoustic tour around Europe and the UK this October, called 'Amateur Mistake'. It's billed as an "intimate, acoustic performance" as she previews her new album.
In July, Mitski announced the title of her newest record via a voice note shared via her official newsletter. Her seventh album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We follows her lauded 2022 album Laurel Hell, which peaked on the Irish Albums Chart at number seven and reached the top spot in both the Alternative and Rock Album Charts in the U.S.
Last year, Mitski visited 3Olympia Theatre and delivered a spectacular performance. The show also featured the Irish singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson, who will be headlining the National Concert Hall in November.
