Moving Hearts have announced a return to the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin, for 10th December 2023.
The beloved traditional Irish outfit have been playing for over four decades, since their founding weekly three-night residency in Dublin's Baggot Inn. Then with the release of their 1984 debut instrumental album The Storm nearly forty years ago, they gathered critical acclaim with critics calling the record "genre defining".
Following a break that lasted over two decades, the band reformed in 2007 for a series of sold-out concerts in Dublin's iconic Vicar Street venue. The shows were met with major critical acclaim, and the group has been performing together ever since. They became a festival familiar in festivals all around Ireland and have played shows around the world including the Festival Hall London and Royce Hall in UCLA.
In what promises to be a rousing night of live music, Moving Hearts' lineup of some of Ireland's most celebrated musicians will include Donal Lunny, Davy Spillane, Keith Donald, Eoghan O’Neill, Noel Eccles, Anthony Drennan, Liam Bradley, Graham Henderson and an unannounced special guest.

December's show follows their two sold-out shows in The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra earlier this year. They last played the 3Olympia Theatre in 2022, the venue somewhat of a home base for the band.
Tickets for the gig, from €47.55, will go on sale on Ticketmaster Friday 18th August at 10AM.
