It's part of an enormous world tour.
Mumford & Sons have announced details of a huge world arena tour in support of their forthcoming fourth album, Delta. A massive 800,000 tickets are set to go on sale for sixty dates from Friday 12th October, making it the band’s biggest tour since their formation ten years ago. The ambitious excursion will also feature them performing the shows on a new ground-breaking stage right across the middle of the room.
Announcing #DeltaTour - the most ambitious tour we’ve ever done. Travelling the world & playing shows remains our primary purpose as a band. This is going to be everything & we are going to leave it all on the floor. For dates & pre-sale info go to: https://t.co/pfTlyBHHnY pic.twitter.com/5dUBglGm0W

The tour will kick off in Dublin's 3Arena on the 16th of November, meaning it will also double as an album launch for Delta, which arrives on the same day. The band will then stop for a show at Belfast's SSE Arena two days later before setting off on a six-month run that sees them travel up and down the UK followed by a brief stop in the US and Canada ahead of Christmas. They'll follow that up in the new year by heading over to Australia and New Zealand, before returning to the US for a longer run of shows, concluding with sixteen dates across Europe.
An experimental record, Delta will aim to perfectly blend the intimacy and vibrancy the the band's first two albums with the grandiose, more anthemic dynamics of their 2015 release Wilder Mind.
