Muse return next Thursday, January 13th with metal-tinged 'Won't Stand Down' from the English trio's forthcoming album.
Muse have returned to announce details of their new single, titled ‘Won’t Stand Down’.
The Teignmouth space-rockers reemerged in December after frontman Matt Bellamy leaked part of the song on Instagram live. Footage of him playing the hard rock-leaning ‘Won’t Stand Down’ on his car stereo was teased, sending fans into a frenzy.
The trio have now confirmed that the first taster from the follow-up to 2018’s Simulation Theory will be released on Thursday, January 13. The British outfit have also shared the broody artwork for 'Won't Stand Down' along with a pre-save link. A hooded, masked figure in the shadows features as part of the cover image.

Details of Muse’s next album, including a release date and tracklist, have yet to be confirmed but writing took place during the Black Lives Matter protests, Bellamy stated. The band are slated to return to the festival circuit in 2022, with headline slots booked at the Isle Of Wight Festival and Berlin’s Tempelhof Sounds.
