Music Cork 2018 have announced the details of public showcase gigs taking place at four venues in Cork during the three-day festival between April 25 and 27.
Kicking off the festival, are Limerick based Hermitage Green, The Strypes, artist Stephanie Rainey and Fontaines DC, at a seated gig in Cork Opera House on Wednesday April 25.
On April 26, Otherkin, Little Hours, Eve Belle and Sean OB will perform at a special Rubyworks showcase the the Old Oak. Also performing the same evening across the city are gigs by Thanks Brother, State Lights, Tebi Rex, Lilla Vargen and Darce in An Bróg; Erica Cody, Le Boom,Roe and Kojaque play at Cyrpus Avenue and Laoise, Siights and Day_s and 1000 Beasts will take to the stage in The Crane Lane Theatre.
The festival marks the second year of Music Cork, which hosts a variety of music industry professionals, taking part in discussion groups, panels and workshops on the business of music, providing influential networking links.

While The Clayton Hotel is the beating heart of the festival, gigs and panels stretch across various venues in the city. On April 25, a Music Cork Pub Trail will take place in conjunction with the opening night show in Cork Opera House. On the closing day of the festival, a Music Cork Brunch will also take place.
Music Cork 2018 is open to the public and tickets (€15) are available from the Opera House box office (www.corkoperahouse.ie). All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. More information is available at www.musiccork.com.
