Funds from the music benefit will go towards Medical Aid for Palestine.
The recent Music for Gaza Benefit held at the Button Factory on June 11 has raised €15,000 for Medical aid for Palestine.
Featuring Junior Brother, ØXN, Mohammad Syfkhan, and Pretty Happy, the Button Factory gig hosted a variety of genres, however there was one common purpose to the night.
As detailed in Hot Press' live report: "In any other context, it would have been difficult to find a common thread between Pretty Happy's experimental punk; Junior Brother’s rage-filled, unruly folk sound; Syfkhan’s traditional Middle-Eastern, Bouzouki-driven approach; and ØXN’s atmospheric and adventurous take on folk".
Sharing the news on Instagram, ØXN said: "Thank you to everyone who came out to the Gig for Gaza last week. It was a truly special night of music in a room filled with love and support".

The Music for Gaza Benefit show raised much needed funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians, taking place mere days after Israel's attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp, which, as reported by Al Jazeera, killed nearly 300 Palestinians.
The fundraiser, which was originally scheduled for June 2 at Vicar Street was moved to June 11 to the Button factory, which organisers said that the change was for the purpose of maximising funding for Medical Aid for Palestinians.
