Want to work in the music industry? Learn from the best in this acclaimed 12-week course...
At Hot Press, we know how competitive the music and entertainment industry can be – which is why, almost three decades ago, we developed the ever-expanding Music Industry Xplained (M.I.X.) course. Aimed at ambitious individuals who want to make their mark in the music industry – or simply want to update their network, knowledge and expertise – the highly anticipated 2025 edition of the course kicks off next week, on Tuesday, April 1.
Delivered by specialists from across the Irish and international music industries, the course will run over Zoom every Tuesday evening for 12 weeks, with all graduates receiving an industry certificate.
You can expect the course to cover essential topics like publishing, promotion, digital marketing, record labels, artist management, production, radio/media, accounts, finance, understanding DSPs, the independent route, and more.
So, if you’re a musician, manager, promoter, booker, publicist, publisher, marketer, event manager, tech professional, tour manager, or social media manager – or if you’d like to be any of the above – M.I.X. will provide the career pathway to progress in, and the networking opportunities to succeed in, the music industry.
