Music Network and Centre Culturel Irlandais are looking for applicants for their annual residency programme.
The One Month residency will take place at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris from August to June next year.
Applicants that have a "professional track record in music performance" and are currently living in the Republic of Ireland can apply for the award, which will include travel to and from Ireland as well as accommodation and a monthly stipend.
Past Artists-in-Residence have included Caitríona Frost (2021-22), Macdara Yeates (2020-21), Mairéad Hickey (2019-20), Aisling Kenny (2018-19), Sam Comerford (2017-18), Barry Donoghue (2016-17) and Rhob Cunningham (2015-16).
Commenting on the news, Music Network CEO Sharon Rollston commented on the news saying, "We are delighted to announce the call out for applications for the 2022 – 2023 Music Network/Centre Culturel Irlandais Music Performance Residency.

The Residency offers a wonderful opportunity for a musician to further their performance career at the centre in Paris, and is an important avenue for showcasing Ireland's dynamic contemporary musical culture on an international stage. Previous recipients of the award have found the experience invaluable in developing their artistic practice."
The application deadline for Music Network/Centre Culturel Irlandais's residency programme is Wednesday, January 12 2022, at 5 pm.
