The legendary Prodigy frontman was found dead in his home this morning.
Following on from the news that Keith Flint, frontman for the Prodigy, was found dead at his home in Dunmow, Essex, this morning, March 4, musicians and friends have been paying tribute to the singer.
The Prodigy issued a short statement on Twitter, saying: "It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed.
We thank you for respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time."

On Instagram, the band stated that Keith Flint had taken his own life, with Liam Howlett saying: "Thew news is true, I can't believe I'm saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend ,
I'm shell shocked, fuckin angry, confused and heart broken.....r.i.p brother Liam #theprodigy"

The Chemical Brothers, who were one of their closest peers/rivals throughout the 90s, said: "so sad to hear about Keith Flint,we played many gigs with the prodigy over the years and they were always friendly and supportive.he was an amazing front man, a true original and he will be missed.tom&ed x"

Tributes began pouring in as soon as the news was announced:
