The second Valentia Isle Festival is incoming and it’s got a cracking line-up, including graduates of New York’s DFA label
As a member of Deadbots, I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to remix two of the UK’s most legendary producers, Erol Alkan and Andy Meecham (aka Bizarre Inc). They have a new project, Future Four, and us ‘bots flipped the track ‘Gwad Bwash’. We’ve turned it into a pulsating club weapon. It’s a free giveaway from Phantasy Records. Plus, they’re finalising an Irish tour at the beginning of October. Check GenericPeople.net
Speaking of Valentia Isle Festival, my good mates Fish Go Deep are lined up to play this final fest of the summer. They’ve completed an album with Andrew Phillpott, due later in the year. Plus, they’re gearing up to celebrate Fish Go Deep’s 25th birthday. We’ve heard rumours of a Dublin gig in October at The Twisted Pepper with further dates lined up for the Pavilion, Cork, in November. Here’s a little mix from the duo to get you in the mood.
