Brothers Elliot and Dylan E. Crampton of Mute The TV have released a live version of their Christmas song ‘Christmas Without You’, with all proceeds going to The Gavin Glynn Foundation.
The Gavin Glynn Foundation helps families of children battling cancer to travel overseas for treatment not available in Ireland, fighting for all children with cancer to get the best care, wherever in the world that might be.
The live version was recorded on November 10 in the Temple Lane Studios in Temple Bar, with the band’s family and friends joining in to help them to put the track together. It was filmed in one take by Dyl Troy.

The studio version of the track had already come out in 2020 as a charity single in aid of Childline, with Dylan saying at the time: "I had the idea for a Christmas song floating around for about two years, but only had a verse and an intro. I showed it to Ell and he really enjoyed it, but we didn’t do much with it at the time."
"We sat down to try and finish the song recently and it really came together," Elliot added. "But it wasn’t until we played it for a few of our close friends that they demanded we record it and release it this year, so, the pressure was on.”
The song is available to purchase from on Bandcamp, with all proceeds made through downloads going to The Gavin Glynn Foundation.
