My Chemical Romance have added another Irish date at Royal Kilmainham Hospital in May 2022.

The group will play a second date on May 25th along with their original May 24th gig which is sold out. It will be their first performance in Ireland since 2011.

The group were scheduled to return in 2020 but it was postponed due to the pandemic. Tickets bought for the original date remain valid as tickets for the new date go live this Friday (December 10) at 10am.

Last month the band postponed their Australia and New Zealand tour until 2023 — they said it was due to uncertainty with border and venue capacity restrictions. This is the second time their Tasman trip has been postponed as they were slated to headline the third annual Download Festival in Melbourne and Sydney in 2020z

My Chemical Romance disbanded in 2013 after 12 years together before reforming back in 2019. The New Jersey band’s last album Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys arrived in 2010.
