My Sweet Beloved make their live return alongside AKROBAT tonight (2 November) in Whelan's.
Dublin-based four piece My Sweet Beloved continue their triumphant comeback with the piercing single ‘Houndstooth’.
Four gritty, grunge-infused minutes of rock goodness, the track features beautifully distorted guitars, pulsating drums and vocals packed with attitude – reminiscent of When The Pawn… era Fiona Apple.
My Sweet Beloved is made up of lead vocalist Danielle Harrison Byrne (formerly of Skindive), Derek Byrne on guitar, bassist is Anton Hegarty and Dan Devlin on the drums.

Their latest tune follows up from ‘Seprentine’, released earlier this year, Hot Press described the track as “an incredibly instrument-heavy offering, with dotted ethereal vocals.”
‘Serpentine’ marked the band’s long awaited return– the group's self-titled debut album received critical acclaim upon its release in 2020, followed by an apparent hiatus for approximately three years.
The release of 'Houndstooth' singals another important return to action, as the band prepare to open for fellow Dublin rockers AKROBAT tonight (2 November) in the iconic Whelan’s. Doors open at 8pm, with ‘My Sweet Beloved’ set to take the stage at 8:30pm. Tickets are available at the door for €10.
