Nas has announced Magic II, the sequel to the 2021 album Magic, will be out this Friday.
Brooklyn-born rapper Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, known by his stage name, Nas, announced his new album will be out this Friday.
Magic 2, which follows his previous release, Magic, will be his fifth album in four years.
Additional info such as a tracklist and guest features were not revealed, however it seems as though 50 Cent will be making an appearance on the record. The G Unit artist took to Instagram to share the album art, writing, “Yal ain’t herd me in a minute. Nas felt like it was time so it’s done. Check us out Friday 7.21 MAGIC 2.”

Along with Magic and Magic 2, he has also released three albums known as the King's Disease Trilogy.

The first King's Disease album won Nas the Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2021. The following album, Kings Disease II debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 in August of the same year.
Nas is currently in a two month break from his NY state of mind tour with the Wu Tang Clan. The double act came to the 3Arena in early June before rounding out the Europe leg of the tour with dates in Glasgow and London.
The next leg will be a string of North American dates starting September 20 in Nashville Tennessee and concluding on October 22 in Highland California.
