Natalie Imbruglia to cover Damien Rice, others on new album
The Aussie singer is releasing a covers album titled Male in July
Taking the exact opposite approach of Keywest, who released a covers EP of songs by female pop musicians, Australian singer-songwriter Natalie Imbruglia is prepping an album of covers by male-led musical acts inventively titled ... Male.
The album, Imbruglia's first since Come to Life in 2009, will include Damien Rice's 'Cannonball,' Neil Young's 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart,' Tom Petty's 'The Waiting,' Daft Punk and Julian Casablancas' 'Instant Crush,' and many more.
