The rising star recently joined Phoebe Bridgers on stage at her London show for an acoustic version of 'Georgia', a fan favourite from the California native's 2017 debut album.
Irish singer-songwriter Nell Mescal has announced a headline show in Belfast on Saturday, October 8, with tickets going on sale this Friday.

Mescall launched her artistic career during the pandemic and released her first single, powerful coming-of-age track 'Graduating', with Q Prime Management (Foals, Muse, Metallica, Declan McKenna) last month. She draws her musical inspiration from artists across different genres and generations; from Phoebe Bridgers, Frank Ocean and Bon Iver to Billie Joel and Paul Simon.

The through line, Mescal said, is the emotional connection that these musicians form with their audiences.
“If I can write a song that makes someone feel something in any capacity or give them some kind of release, that was always my number one thing. I didn’t want to write a song that someone just listened to and said ‘oh this is nice,’ I want them to actually feel something and sit there and think about it,” the Kildare-born singer explained, who is the sister of Normal People star Paul Mescal.
She recently joined Phoebe Bridgers on stage at her London show at the O2 Academy. The pair performed an acoustic version of Bridgers' fan favourite 'Georgia' from her 2017 critically acclaimed debut album Strangers in the Alps.

Tara Richardson of Q Prime Management praised Nell Mescal as "a rare talent. Her voice and songwriting abilities are as wicked as her sense of humour", which has led to the creation of moving, insightful, and incisive songs.
Her 2020 single 'Missing You' soundtracked the 2020 Christmas ad campaign for designer department store chain Brown Thomas. At the time, Mescal revealed that it was "inspired by friendship and missing people that weren’t necessarily very far away but due to changes in life, you’re not as close anymore. It’s about missing people, so it’s kind of fitting for now because of the lockdown in Ireland.”
