Rising Irish singer-songwriter Nell Mescal and her band are set to embark on her headline tour across Ireland this December.
With her date at Belfast's Voodoo on 11 December now sold out, the Maynooth native will also be playing shows at Dublin's Whelan's (13 December), Galway's Roisin Dubh (14 Dec) and Cork's Cyrpus Avenue (15 Dec).
With only a clutch of releases to her name, Mescal's rise has been formidable.
Drawing on her childhood, relationships, Irish roots and her family for inspiration - an honest, energetic and powerful songwriting approach has seen the singer enjoy a packed 2023 - with a memorable set at Electric Picnic's 3 Muisc Stage and a support slot for Florence & The Machine at Malahide Castle amongst the year's many highlights.
"It was undoubtedly a homecoming, and she seemed more than comfortable onstage, to the point where it was as if she was playing at a small hometown venue," wrote Hot Press' Piper Sewell of Mescal's Electric Picnic performance.

"It’s abundantly clear that she deserves this stage: she has a hypnotic voice, one that keeps taking you by surprise."
Receiving well-earned acclaim from many in the music industry, the Hot Press: Hot For 2023 act began writing music when she was just 13 years old, finally taking the decision to make music her career during the pandemic, relocating to North London.
