The first acts have been announced for the eagerly anticipated 2024 edition of Forbidden Fruit – including headliner Nelly Furtado. The festival returns to The Royal Hospital in Kilmainham, Dublin 8, on the June Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday June 1 & Sunday June 2).
This marks the first time that Nelly Furtado – famed for mega-hits like 'Turn Off The Light', 'I'm Like A Bird', 'Promiscuous' and 'Maneater' – will have played in Ireland since Slane 2000, and is set to be her Irish festival debut.
For the 12th Forbidden Fruit, you can also look forward to Four Tet, who'll be closing the main stage. Other major name include Belfast's BICEP, presenting their audiovisiual DJ set CHROMA.
Forbidden Fruit 2024's first line-up announcement also features Barry Can't Swim, DJ Seinfeld, Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, Freddie Gibbs, George Riley, Groove Armada, Le Boom, Nia Archives, OVERMONO, Sally C, salute, and Hagop Tchaparian. Many more are set to be announced in the run-up to the festival.
