The West of Ireland band is set to release their debut album on March 15th 2024
Having spent 2 years refining their sound since their last release, the experimental punk band are now ready to present their debut EP Glórach.
Formed in 2016, NERVES began playing DIY punk shows in their home counties of Mayo and Galway. They then moved to Dublin for college, and over the course of the last few years, have gigged extensively, and released a slew of well-received singles.
Blending punk, hardcore, industrial and samples, Nerves' lyrics deal with loss and mental health in the rural west. The album's first single, 'Empty' comes out on the 12th of January while the album itself will be released two months later on March 15th.
Speaking on the new album release the band posted on Instagram saying: "these songs have been knocking around in our live set for some time now and its an incredible honour to finally be getting them out in the world".

Recorded and co-produced by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band, this body of work captures much of the sonic devastation that the band are capable of dishing out live.
The vinyl will be issued in limited edition run of 150. The Glórach release date is March 15th and the vinyl will be shipped from that date onwards.
The highly anticipated 12" will be priced at €18 and can be preordered from Blowtorch records website here.
