The 1975 will play the 3Arena on March 3 2020.
Ahead of the release of their fourth album, Notes On A Conditional Form, The 1975 will play Dublin's 3Arena early in 2020.
Their fourth album comes hot on the heels of the band's third, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, which received wide acclaim following its release.
THe band released the first song from the album two months ago, a new version of their album intro 'The 1975'. The song was made in collaboration with climate activist Greta Thunberg.
The 1975 gave a phenomenal headliner performance at Electric Picnic over the weekend, where they played on the Saturday evening. Writing about it, Hot Press reviewer Brenna Randsen wrote: "It's clear this setlist was curated with festival season in mind - every song was somehow a singalong, even if you didn't know the words. The harder songs had the lyrics emblazoned on the screens, but most of them were easy to nail by the second chorus. During fan favourite, 'The City', a saxophonist emerged from the fog for a thrilling solo - indeed, saxophones can be thrilling if you're at a The 1975 concert."
Following on from that, the band will return to Ireland next year for their next arena show.
