The documentary will be aired on Channel 4
A documentary detailing the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has been announced.
Set to be broadcast on Channel 4, Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake includes archived interviews and footage of people who have collaborated and worked with the two rappers.
The aim of the documentary is to explore how the feud “came to be so universally acclaimed, while contextualising their careers through the contemporary history and culture which created them.”
In a statement to Deadline, Channel 4’s Shaminder Nahal explains the basis of the documentary. "Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake is not just a biography" he said. "It’s a cultural exploration of two of the most influential voices in modern music."
Nahal further asserts that the biography will "delve into the unique journeys of Kendrick and Drake, examining how their backgrounds, talents, and visions have made them global icons.”

The two rappers have created a back-and-forth dynamic of diss tracks on each other, which involved several other stars including Metro Boomin, J Cole and Future.
Tensions between these rap artists had been rising for over a decade, but the feud reached a fever pitch with the release of 'Like That' – a single by Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar – back in March.
The conflict went on to inspire a number of diss tracks, including Kendrick's hugely popular 'Not Like Us', which spent two non-consecutive weeks at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100, and is also the longest-reigning No.1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
