The second wave of brand-new acts announced for the June bank holiday weekend
Today, thirteen new acts have been announced for the Bulmers Forbidden Fruit Festival 2019 which returns to the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublinβs City centre.
Earl Sweatshirt, Laurent Garnier, Peggy Gou, Kojaque, Ry X, Mahalia, Joy Orbison, Midland, Empress Of, Barns Courtney, Julien Baker, and I Have A Tribe will now be hitting the Forbidden Fruit stage.
They join previously announced acts; Skepta, Mura Masa, Elbow, Jon Hopkins, Paul Kalkbrenner, First Aid Kit, Danny Brown, Mall Grab, Daniel Avery, Homeshake, Maribou State, Ross From Friends, Polo & Pan (Live), and Saint Sister.
French DJ Laurent Garnier has been making the planet dance for almost 30 years. He will be one of the biggest acts performing on the Kilmainham stage on Sunday along with Mura Masa. Another big name added is Earl Sweatshirt, former member of Odd Future collective, who has been added as a Saturday headliner.
Irish producer and hip hop artist Kojaque has steadily gained ground on the Irish and international music scene, thanks to his production style, stunning visuals, and biting lyrics. He joins the Saturday line-up along with Mahalia β who will be making her Irish festival debut.
The Bulmers Forbidden Fruit Festival takes place June 1 to 3, 2019. Tickets are on sale now, prices range from β¬69.50 to β¬169.00 and are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
