JELLYFISH: 'New Mistake' (Charisma)
Jellyfish draw their influence from the most unlikely elements. At the moment they sound like a fusion of Supertramp, 10CC and every other kitsch band of the '70s, and 'New Mistake' is, unsurprisingly, a kitsch '90s song that appears to be about an unplanned pregnancy - not the kind of thing Supertramp would have approved of, surely? Blander by far than their earlier singles.
