42 years of 'Heroes'
Yesterday marked the 42nd anniversary of David Bowie's iconic song 'Heroes'. For the occasion, a new music video was released, using a never-before-seen take from the shooting of the original visuals.
The video was published by the YouTube account Nacho Video and shared on the official Facebook page of Bowie:
"This video is a newly-edited, previously unreleased take, from the Stanley Dorfman / Nicholas Ferguson-directed official 'Heroes' promo video outtakes reel", it's stated in the video's description, "It is synced to the 2017 remastered version of 'Heroes', edited back into the 1977 7" single format."

It's added, "Thanks to the vast possibilities of modern digital editing, it was relatively easy to alter some of the cross cuts between the two camera angles, and moreover to correct or somewhat mask Bowie's lip-sync errors."
'Heroes' was released as a single on September 23 in 1977. The song served as the title track for Bowie's 1977 album. Two years ago, a previously unreleased version of the track was published in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the song.
Back in September, another Bowie song received the new music video treatment: The 50th anniversary of 'Space Oddity' was celebrated with new visuals for the song.
