Dublin EDM musician Luke Power, known as Badscandal, announced the release of newest single 'Someone There'
Luke Power, the man behind Badscandal, plans to release his latest single, 'Someone There,' on April 5.
About the single, Luke said: “Ultimately, this song is about the complexities of the human condition. The lyrics explore pain and longing, but offer a glimpse into the shared experiences that unite us all. I’ve wrapped it up in my own unique sound and I’m hoping ‘Someone There’ resonates with listeners on a deep level.”
From the rise of Slaphouse's popularity in 2018 acceptance of EDM became widespread. Influenced by artists such as David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and Swedish House Mafia, Luke developed his expertise before debuting as BADSCANDAL in 2022.
At 23, Luke, the son of The Script's drummer Glen Power, gained attention with his music, attracting four million monthly Spotify listeners, including 50,000 in Dublin.

His remix of The High Kings' track 'Chasing Rainbows,' co-written by The Script's Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power, topped the Irish charts.
“A lot of people probably think there’s a certain amount of nepotism involved with me and where I am in music because I’ve got a parent in the music industry, but it doesn’t work like that,” Luke told the Sunday World.
“You still need to have some sort of ability. You have to have a skill and you’ve to be good at it. And you have to work hard at being able to express that skill."
