The new video is part of an ongoing series leading up to the release of the Back To Black film.
Director and photographer David LaChapelle has put together a new lyric video for ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ by Amy Winehouse.
This film follows another lyric video for Winehouse’s ‘In My Bed’ as a part of a series being released to celebrate Winehouse. Both recording use footage from the original rushes for the track.
‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ is the fourth single taken from Winehouse’s second album Back To Black. The video takes place on the streets and in motels of Los Angeles, and reveals candid moments of Winehouse with the film crew.
The video will be available in a multitude of languages including English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. These videos are a part of the lead up to Sam Taylor Johnson’s directorial film Back To Black.
The film's accompanying soundtrack will feature original recordings of Winehouse’s debut album Frank as well as her hit album Back To Black. There will also be a new song entitled ‘Song For Amy’ sung by Nick Cave.
