The specially curated news feed will spread the word on what is happening in music in Ireland to a fresh audience, while also promoting the work of Irish artists
Hot Press and Extra.ie have announced a new collaboration, which will see a special news feed from Ireland’s leading music and entertainment channel appear on the Extra.ie website.
The Hot Press Hot Desk feed will be selectively curated by the Hot Press news team, spreading the word on Irish music’s best music stories – and in particular drawing a new audience into the Hot Press campaign to support and champion the work of Irish musicians and artists.
“It has always been a core part of the Hot Press mission to spread the gospel of rock ‘n’ roll as far and as widely as possible,” Hot Press founder and editor Niall Stokes said. “And, in particular, we aim at every turn to support Irish musicians, artists, filmmakers, writers and creatives in every way we can. This collaboration with Extra.ie will enable us to broadcast the word about the artists we love – and about the extraordinary achievements of Irish musicians – to a whole new audience. We are really looking forward to it.”
“The music world has always been enriched by great collabs,” Paul Henderson, CEO of dmg media Ireland said. "Extra.ie and Hot Press is the publishing one that we have been excited about for some time. For over 40 years, Hot Press has consistently shaken up Irish society, breaking stories and supporting great journalism. Now that it is available, daily, to read on Extra.ie it opens this content up to our audience of over 1.6 million adults. They love to read about the issues that matter to them and Hot Press will deliver even more.”
Incisive and irreverent...humorous and challenging...sometimes controversial, frequently provocative, always a great read… a dedicated news feed from Hot Press is now available on Extra.ie.
