Early Bird tickets for Punchestown go on sale today.
California Crazy Color merchants Blink-182 are the latest act to be added to the Oxegen 2011 bill.
Having reconvened last year following a lengthy career break, the band played a sold-out Dublin O2 gig, which showed that they’re still in possession of all their pop-punk faculties.
There’s also a new album in the offing, which Mark Hoppus describes as “ambitious and weird.”
Adds the singer: "We've gone through a lot of really heavy stuff over the past few years. I think in moments it will be dark. We're still just barely getting into the whole writing process. We have about three or four songs done. There's stuff that sounds like what we were doing on the last Blink record, and there's stuff that sounds like what we were doing 10 years ago and stuff that we've never done before."
