It’s testament to these two that both can be releasing the zillionth single off their respective albums and still manage to come up with affecting, engaging records. The two songs inhabit similar places too, both easing a subtle groove into a brass led crescendo. There can’t be many who are still debating whether to splash out on either album but these songs could just persuade them.
