Horan assured fans that he will return from his break with a new album
Niall Horan has announced a hiatus at the end of his 2024 'The Show' world tour, and has promised his eventual return with a "brand new album."
'The Show' world tour was in support of the former One Direction's member's third solo album, which saw three sold out shows at 3Arena back in February. The tour's final show was in Bogota, Colombia on October 9.
“This stands from tomorrow onwards, you’ll never find me,” he said. “I’m gonna be hungover as fuck tomorrow! And I’m gonna disappear for a while. I’m gonna make you guys a brand new album and I will be back, I promise.”
Night Eighty-Seven Bogotá. The last night of The Show Live On Tour. The past 8 months have just been incredible. I’ll never be able to thank you all enough for what you’ve done for me. Horan furthered his statement on X, saying "Night Eighty-Seven Bogotá. The last night of The Show Live On Tour. The past 8 months have just been incredible."
It is unclear how long the singer will be on hiatus, but he has assured fans that he will continue to work on the development of new music.
In an interview with Hot Press last year, Niall spoke of his stardom saying, “There’s all those kinds of perks that come with it. But day-to-day, I try to live as basic a life as I possibly can. Not ‘try’ – I just do! I’m too Irish for it to be that elaborate!”
