'You Could Start a Cult (with Lizzy McAlpine)' will release this Friday, after a teaser of the song was posted along with the album announcement.
The show isn't over yet: Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan has announced an extended version of his third studio album The Show, featuring live versions and collaborations with various artists.
The Show: The Encore will release on 3rd November and feature new renditions of nine songs on the record's original tracklist. The new versions include collaborations with singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine and The Voice costar John Legend and some live versions recorded at this summer's Electric Picnic when Horan headlined it. The Show: The Encore will also feature a cover of Zach Bryan's 'Something In the Orange' along with two of his Vevo Extended Play performances.

Horan will release 'You Could Start a Cult' featuring Lizzy McAlpine ahead of the record on Friday, 27th October, after teasing part of the song on social media. The former One Direction member previously did a cover of McAlpine's 'Ceilings' during his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge set earlier this year.
"I’ve been a huge fan of hers for a while now and am so grateful she was able to hop on the song and write a special new verse," shared Horan about McAlpine.

In his Hot Press cover interview earlier this year, the singer confessed to his love of crowds ahead of his excellent debut at Electric Picnic. Speaking to Lucy O'Toole for our Hot Press Electric Picnic edition, Niall commented: “There’s something about live music. The amount of times I’ve bawled my eyes out at festivals! It’s that euphoria. It’s a feeling that comes over you, that you don’t get from listening in headphones. And I love playing live. I love that feeling of looking out at the crowd.”
Horan has some Irish shows lined up for next year: after adding additional dates due to overwhelming demand, he will now bring The Show to Royal Hospital Kilmainham on August 23 and 24, 2024.
