A Lazarus Soul have announced Niamh Regan as special guest for their April 18 gig in Dublin’s Vicar Street.

Announcing the news on Instagram, the band referred to Regan’s most recent album Come As You Are by calling it “one of our very favorite records of 2024, a masterclass in songwriting and we're so buzzed that we’ll get to hear these songs live.

“It’s a long weekend,” they concluded, “so there’s 3 days to recover, we’ll need them.”

The two artists previously played on the same stage at this year’s RTÉ Folk Awards, with Regan offering a number of tunes from her most recent record in a performance that Hot Press’ Caroline Kelly qualified as one that “you hoped wouldn’t end so soon.”

Meanwhile, A Lazarus Soul’s stop was called a “standout performance of the night whose impact is still reeling in my head.”
