Irish singer-songwriter Niamh Regan has announced an Irish tour for next year, kicking off in Leitrim on January 27th, with intimate performances in Limerick, Galway, Cork and more to follow — before closing out at Dublin's Unitarian Church on March 2nd.
Galway-based singer songwriter Niamh Regan has announced that she will embark on a solo tour of Ireland next year, with a spate of performances across the country— including dates in Galway, Dublin, Cork and Kinsale.
Niamh’s 2020 debut album Hemet heralded her arrival as a musical mainstay, firmly establishing her status amongst the best and brightest of the Irish scene. Critically lauded for her distinctively poetic lyricism and quietly ornate sonics, Niamh Regan's intimately penned and enveloping soundscapes have rightfully garnered her emphatic critical praise; earning nominations for both the RTE Folk Awards’ and the Choice Awards’ Album of the Year.
In recent months, Niamh has popped up on stages at home and overseas - playing Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival, previewing new material with a full band for Other Voices, playing to packed festival tents on a country-wide tour of Australia, and performing a run of intimate shows in smaller venues across Switzerland. Niamh has also opened for the likes of CMAT, Pa Sheehy, Sorcha Richardson, John Grant, Patrick Watson, and SOAK, across Ireland and the UK this year. Having teased some new songs on the road around Ireland and the UK, Regan has spent much of 2023 in-studio, honing her craft and working on her forthcoming sophomore effort.

Now, Regan is gearing up for a solo tour of Ireland. Kicking off on January 27th at Leitrim's The Dock, Niamh will perform in An Taibhdhearc in Galway (Feb 2nd); Cleere’s, Kilkenny (Feb 3rd), Coughlan's in Cork (Feb 4th), Upstairs at Dolan’s, Limerick (Feb 8th), Wicklow's Whale Theatre (Feb 9th), Levis,' Ballydehob (Feb 10th), and Prim’s in Kinsale (Feb 11th), before closing out at Dublin's Unitarian Church on March 2nd.
Of the newly announced tour, Niamh said: "I'm excited because I'm bursting with new songs, but I'm also a little nervous sticking my neck out again after spending a lot of time doing support slots and hiding away writing the past while. I had serious fun supporting CMAT in the UK and Sorcha Richardson, John Grant, and Pa Sheehy around Ireland, it was so great to meet so many new lovely people and hopefully I might see you at one of these shows..."
