Only four other artists have ever made three digit figures in the charts.
Rapper Nicki Minaj makes history as the first woman to make 100 appearances in the Billboard Hot 100. A feature on Tyga's latest song 'Dip' marked the number 100 appearance for the artist, debuting at no. 83 on the week of 10 November. The Billboard Hot 100 is based on streaming, airplay and sales data, and gives a fair indication into popularity in the business.
Over her career Minaj has earned 17 Hot 100 top 10s, with 'Anaconda' hitting the no. 2 spot in 2014. Her first entry int he Hot 100 was in 2010. Minaj featured on Lil Wayne's 'Knockout' track which debuted at no. 44 in the charts.
Only four other artists have appeared 100 times or more on the Billboard Hot 100. The late Elvis Presley made 108 appearances, Lil Wayne has made 160 and Drake has made 191 in total. The cast of Glee have made the most appearances in history with 207. Others near the three digits mark include JAY-Z (98), Kanye West (93) and James Brown (91).
Nicki Minaj currently features on British girl group Little Mix's latest track 'Woman Like Me'. Minaj and the girls of Little Mix took to the stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) in Bilbao, Spain on 4 November 2018. MTV deemed their performance "One of the most ICONIC #MTVEMA moments". 'Woman Like Me' holds the no.2 spot in the Official Irish Singles Chart Top 50. It has yet to make the Billboard Hot 100.
