Extremely good times will be had as the disco legends hit the Stradbally Main Stage

The great news for Electric Fans is that Nile Rodgers & Chic have just been added to the Main Stage line-up at Stradbally.

In addition to Mr. R’s massive cache of hits – ‘Le Freak’, ‘Good Times’, ‘Lost In Music’, ‘I’m Coming Out’, ‘Everybody Dance’ and ‘Get Lucky’ – they’ll be previewing the September 14 release of extremely eagerly awaited new album, It’s About Time.

While the roll call of special guests has yet to be officially announced, Nile has mentioned working recently with Lady Gaga, Elton John, Miguel, Janelle Monae, Disclosure, Anderson.Paak and Dublin’s very own Krystal Klear.

Having started out as rumination on cancer and losing close friends such as David Bowie and Prince, he says, “It became this really fun, celebratory record, which is what Chic records are all about.”

We’re hoping that if we ask him nicely, Chic drummer Ralph Rolle will bring us some of his excellent cookies.
