Noah Kahan apologises to his Irish fans for a mistake on the Dublin merchandise patch for his upcoming European tour.
Vermont born singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has had a seemingly unstoppable rise, however, he recently had to apologise to his Irish fans for a mistake that was printed on a merchandise patch that was set to be sold to fans at his upcoming Dublin show.
On January 18 on the social media platform X, Kahan posted that he was starting what he called the “2024 Tour Patch Adventure.” Kahan and his team created a set of limited edition patches that would be sold at each location of his upcoming: “We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour.”
The patches being sold would make the owner part of the "Noah Kahan Patch Club" in which Kahan invited his fans to buy, collect, trade and wear the patches that he sells as an exclusive item to commemorate the various shows on his tour.

Each patch included his name, the date of the show, as well as the shows location. Kahan who is expected to play at the 3Arena on February 8, wrote “Dublin, UK” on the patch.
This sparked outrage amongst his Irish fans who quickly pointed out that Dublin is not in the UK.
Fans on Instagram were quick to correct Kahanwith one comment reading: "fix the Dublin one people didn't die for a design company to call us the uk."
Others came to Kahan's defense posting comments that read "why are people overreacting about the Dublin patch. It was a misprint, he can fix it wtf, would you relax. It's not the end of the world."
Kahan then took to social media once again, this time through a TikTok story. Kahan apologized for the mistake and assured his fans that they would be fixing the patches.
“To all my Irish fans: I am terribly sorry about the mistake, which you have every right to be offended by. I did not make the patches (sic) and did not do my due diligence of checking them thoroughly before they were released on socials.”
Tickets for Kahans’ show in Dublin are sold out and will now include corrected patches that will be sold at the tour merchandise stand with limited supply.
