The two artists have long been compared to each other, and their collaboration is highly anticipated.
American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has taken to social media to announce a brand-new collaboration with Hozier.
The collaboration will be a new version of Kahan's hit 'Northern Attitude' featuring the Irish megastar. Kahan first posted a video on his Instagram on Monday compiling comments asking for a collaboration between the two artists with the caption "Taking notes".
He then confirmed the collaboration speculation yesterday with another coy video. "Unfortunately, you are no longer allowed to listen to 'Northern Attitude'," he told the camera in a deadpan. "The reason is you can now only listen to the version featuring Hozier. 'Northern Attitude' with Hozier is coming out and that is the only version of the song that I'm comfortable with you listening to, from now until forever."
He then shared a short section of the song, in which you can hear Kahan and Hozier harmonising together.

This is not the first time Hozier and Noah Kahan have interacted musically- Hozier joined Kahan onstage and performed 'Northern Attitude' at a show in Nashville last month, and Kahan joined Hozier for a rendition of his track 'Work Song' at a concert in August. The two are also set to co-headline South Carolina’s 2024 High Water Festival in April 2024.
This collaboration follows hot on the heels of his collaborations with Lizzy McAlpine and Post Malone, both of whom were released in the past few months.
Kahan is set to visit Dublin this month on his Stick Season European tour, playing at the National Stadium on November 15th. Hozier will also return to Ireland for a series of shows in December after an extensive world tour following the release of his most recent album, Unreal Unearth.
