The Oasis co-founder said he "Couldn't believe how enjoyable it was"
Britpop legend Noel Gallagher has praised Irish rap trio Kneecap at Glastonbury 2024.
Speaking on Matt Morgan’s podcast, Gallagher spoke about attending one of the group’s sets, describing the venue as “Absolutely smash-packed”.
“I couldn’t believe how enjoyable it was. Being of Irish heritage, I found it quite funny. They were really really good”.
Kneecap, which consists of Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara, and DJ Próvaí shared a photo to their Instagram showing Próvaí posing with Gallagher.

Their debut LP, Fine Art, reached number 2 on the Official Irish Albums Charts, with Hot Press' Will Russell describing it as "a bitingly funny, thrillingly audacious record, full of imagination and style."
The West-Belfast HipHop group played 2 sets at the festival, as well as hosting a Q&A about their upcoming film, following the trailer’s release in June.
The film, Kneecap, is described as a biopic, starring Michael Fassbender and the group's members. A preview was shown at the Pilton Palais, Glastonbury’s cinema tent over the weekend.
The movie will be released in Irish cinemas on August 8, and in the UK on August 23
