Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have unveiled two new versions of classic Oasis songs ‘Going Nowhere’ and ‘The Masterplan’, recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
The tunes have become mainstays in the band’s live sets, originally appearing on Oasis’ B-Sides album The Masterplan - which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a re-entry at no.2 spot on the UK Albums Chart in November.
Today’s news comes before Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ anticipated run of arena shows in Britain, beginning at London’s Wembley arena on 14 December. Last remaining tickets for Noel December headline arena tour are available here.
2023 has been a busy year for the Oasis songwriter, with the release of his fourth studio solo album Council Skies, a 26 date U.S tour and an epic outdoor show at the IMMA Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin.

The summer culminated in the band’s biggest ever headline gig, a homecoming concert at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park.
The group’s first four performances for summer 2024 have been announced – with outdoor shows planned in Wigan, London, Cardiff and Halifax next July and August. Tickets are on sale now.
