The nominations for this year's RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards have been announced – with multiple nods for the likes of Lankum, Lisa O'Neill, Bláth na hÓige, Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin, Síle Denvir, Sorcha Costello, Piaras Ó Lorcáin and more.

Moving from its previous October/November slot, this year's ceremony is set to take place at Vicar Street in Dublin on Tuesday, February 27. Hosted by John Creedon, the evening will include performances from Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin, Niamh Bury, Bláth na hÓige, Johnny McEvoy, Rhiannon Giddens and more.

On the night, influential musician and collector Séamus Ennis will also be inducted into the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards Hall of Fame – with son Christopher Ennis set to be among the guests of honour in attendance.

The Lifetime Achievement Award winner will be announced next month, ahead of the ceremony. Previous winners include Mary Black, Christy Moore, Steve Cooney, Moya Brennan and Andy Irvine.
