Northern Irish producer Lemonade Shoelace among finalists of Vans Musicians Wanted competition
Lemonade Shoelace and the other fourteen global finalists will perform in the Vans Musicians Wanted concert series on September 22.
Vans have announced the musicians chosen as finalists for their Musicians Wanted competition.
In July, the music competition opened for submissions for up-and-coming musicians. It provides support and exposure as they start their careers, as well as prizes like Vans products, global music distribution, and playlisting on Spotify and Apple Music.
Fifteen musicians were chosen as finalists and will now perform at the Vans Musicians Wanted virtual concert series on September 22. In addition to the competition prizes, they are also competing for an opportunity to perform as an opening act on Yungblud's 2022 tour.
Five finalists have been chosen from each region – the US, Europe, and Asia. The finalists from Europe are Lemonade Shoelace, Kenya Grace, KY'ORiON, Altered Myths, and p-i.
Among the talented acts chosen is Ruairí Richman, also known as Lemonade Shoelace. The music producer from Newcastle, Northern Ireland has spent his time after graduating from BIMM Dublin creating dreamy and psychedelic music.
Earlier this year, Hot Press premiered the music video for his latest track, 'Autopilot Paradise.'
