Oasis have confirmed that a new film is being made in conjunction with their highly anticipated Live ‘25 tour.
The project will be created and produced by Steven Knight, the BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer, and director behind Peaky Blinders, Eastern Promises, and Dirty Pretty Things.
Recent projects of him include creating and writing the series This Town for the BBC, writing the script for Maria, the Oscar nominated film about Maria Callas starring Angelina Jolie, and A Thousand Blows on Disney+ starring Stephen Graham.
Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace will direct the film, known for music documentaries Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom.

The film is being produced by Magna Studios, whose previous projects include Beastie Boys Story, 20000 Days On Earth, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now, and Gangs of London. Sony Music Vision will handle global distribution, led by Krista Wegener.
As of now, no release date or further details about the film's content have been announced.
Oasis' only European shows in 2025 will take place in the UK and Ireland, including two sold-out dates at Dublin's Croke Park on August 16 and 17. The shows will feature special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast.
