The track is the latest release off the upcoming 30th anniversary re-release of Definetly Maybe
Oasis have released a previously unheard 1992 demo version of ‘Sad Song’, as well as a new lyric video.
‘Sad Song’ was originally released as a bonus track on the Definitely Maybe vinyl and was sung by Noel Gallagher. The demo version, however, features Liam Gallagher on vocals.
The track is the third recent release from the Manchester natives, following on from the release of ‘Columbia’ and ‘Up in the Sky’.
The three songs were taken from the upcoming album, Definitely Maybe (30th Anniversary) Deluxe Editions, which is set for release on August 30.
The new record will feature unused tracks from recording sessions at the Sawmills Studios in Cornwall, and Monnow Valley Studios, that have been newly mixed by Noel Gallagher.
Released in 1994, Definitely Maybe was Oasis’ first studio LP, debuting at number one on the Official UK Album Charts.
