Obie Trice coming to Ireland for 'Cheers' anniversary tour
He recently performed in Ireland at the BARE in the Woods festival.
Multi-platinum selling Detroit rapper Obie Trice is coming to these shores this November for the 15th anniversary tour of his classic debut album Cheers, bringing Swifty McVay of D12 and Creative Crime with him for support on his handful of shows.
The album produced memorable singles such as ‘Got Some Teeth’ and ‘The Set Up’ (featuring Nate Dogg) and proved to be a hugely successful record worldwide, having sold almost three million copies to date, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard charts and peaking at No. 3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts upon its release.
The Black Market Entertainment man has worked with a host of decorated names down the years, many of whom have a presence on Cheers in some capacity. The album was produced by Timbaland, Dr Dre and Eminem, and also featured the three as well as Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, D12, Tony Yayo and the aforementioned Nate Dogg.
