The showcase festival is set to return live and in person to Groningen in January.
139 new names have been added to the ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) line-up for 2023 – including Irish acts Offica, 49th & Main, Dea Matrona, Kynsy, Ailbhe Reddy, Bricknasty, Gurriers, Khakikid, M(h)aol, New Pagans, Somebody's Child, and Sprints.
The homegrown artists – many of whom are recent Hot Press interviewees or Y&E Series performers – join previously confirmed Irish acts CMAT, Selló, The Mary Wallopers and The Scratch.
The showcase festival, which had already confirmed 102 emerging artists before today's announcement, is set to return live and in person to Groningen in the Netherlands from January 18 to 21.
ESNS is the key exchange for emerging European music talent, with a proven track record of helping to break new acts on the international music scene, including well-known names like Fontaines D.C., Dua Lipa, Wet Leg, Sigrid, girl in red, and Arlo Parks.
Each January, ESNS showcases 350 emerging European artists to over 40,000 visitors. The festival and conference attract over 4,000 music industry professionals, including 400 international festivals..
