His debut album is set to drop this October.
Drogheda rapper Offica has announced the release of his new single ‘Living Proof’, due Friday 8 September.
The track is being shared in the build up to his debut album Hokage, out 6 October 2023.
Since first hitting the scene in 2019, Offica has skyrocketed to the top of the Irish drill scene. He has garnered a massive following both at home and abroad, amassing over 600,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

“I want to be the biggest to ever come from Ireland, and take the city to new heights,” he said in an interview with Hot Press’ Lucy O’Toole last year. “I didn’t really start music to make money, or income, or any of that. I was just doing it for fun. So to be doing it, and doing really well at it, at such a fast rate – I’m just enjoying it! I’m taking in every moment. Anything else is a bonus.”

In March he released the track ‘Dedication’, which has already surpassed 400,000 Spotify streams.
The artist has also been critical of the Irish media’s lack of attention to the Irish drill scene in the past.
“I’ve tried to figure it out,” he said. “But honestly, I just don’t understand it, so I’ve stopped thinking about it. By God’s grace, if I reach a certain stage, they’re going to have to pay attention. They’ll have no choice but to. So we’ll just keep working hard. And eventually – hopefully – my hard work will have paid off.”
