Kanye fans rejoice, the album is official.
When Kanye tweeted that Jesus is King would be released on Friday, frankly, it was a bit hard to take seriously. After a series of fiascos and delays, it's been hard to tell when this project would see the light of day if it even exists.
Today, it becomes official: Kanye West has announced the release of his ninth solo studio album will coincide with the global release of his IMAX film of the same name on Friday, October 25th. Kanye will premiere both the album and the film on Wednesday, October 23rd at a special listening and screening at the Forum in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the Jesus is King album and film experience will be free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday morning at 10 am PDT via Ticketmaster.
Fans can also secure first access to tickets with an advance pre-order of the album on blue vinyl at the official Kanye West shop here.
