Amberlight's brand new single ‘Peace At Last’ is out now on all digital platforms.
Following their unique take on 'Celtic New Year' for Hot Press's 'Rave On, Van Morrision' celebrations last year, Amberlight are back with their brand new single, 'Peace At Last'. Hot Press is delighted to premiere the official YouTube music video for the track below.
"'Peace At Last' is about coming out of this past year stronger," says Lauren Doherty, who makes up one half of Amberlight, alongside Paul Casey. "It’s a song about throwing away the things that have tied us down, and realising that you already hold the answer. It’s about the memories of when you were happiest.”
Here’s the video, which was directed by Casey in true lockdown style – you have to get creative when your movements are restricted!

'Peace At Last' was written by the duo, featuring vocals from Doherty and guitars and bass from Casey. Recorded and produced by Casey at his Cable Junction Studio in Derry, the track also features Liam Bradley (Drums & Percussion), John McCullough (Hammond & Piano) and Damien McGeehan (Fiddle).
The single is out now on all digital platforms – and has already been added to the RTÉ Radio 1 Recommends playlist.
