The prolific rockers sold out their last Button Factory gig in May 2019.
Oh Sees have announced two gigs on May 18 and 19 at Button Factory in Dublin, following their sold out gig last May.
The psych-punk band has been incredibly prolific throughout their career, consistently releasing at least one new album every year since 2005. Their name has changed many times (including but not limited to OCS, The Oh Sees, Orinoka Crash Suite and Thee Oh Sees) and so has their sound. Oh Sees have successfully navigated a range of influences from garage rock to prog all the way to psychedelic folk. Throughout all the changes, the band has kept a delightfully unhinged and energetic sound that translates well to a live setting complete with not one, but two drummers at once.
Face Stabber, released in August 2019, is the band's latest dive into the world of psychedelia. Sprawling solos and a track that even crosses the 20-minute mark (album closer 'Henchlock') mixed with grungy punk elements earned the album well-deserved praise. Oh Sees seem to be on a continuous path of success.
