Ol' Dirty Bastard is the subject of a forthcoming documentary airing next month.
Ol' Dirty Bastard: A Tale of Two Dirtys serves as the first authorised documentary on the late Wu-Tang Clan rapper, who passed away at 35 from an accidental drug overdose in 2004.
For the feature-length doc, father-son director duo Sam and Jason Pollard interviewed fellow Wu-Tang members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, Mariah Carey and industry executives. They also spoke to ODB's wife Icelene Jones, his son Bar-Sun Jones and his parents.
“I am so happy to have brought this documentary about my husband’s life to the screen," Icelene Jones says. "Like all of hip-hop, I have missed his energy. This project has let me know that he is alive and well in all of our hearts.”
The documentary also features never-before-seen footage shot by Icelene, featuring snapshots of ODB's home life as a husband and father.
